THEME: Career Portfolio 1: Resume

Job Market Solutions  

Students will be guided in the creation of a digital career portfolio including a resume, cover letter, thank you letter, references/recommendations, honors, awards, and certifications. Students will also create an elevator pitch and a LinkedIn Profile (must be 16 years old). The Career Portfolio Presentation is part of the final assessment for Career Readiness Certification.

Earn 3 service hours.  Registration is required.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Betsy Taube, CPRW, CPCC

Betsy is a certified professional resume writer and career coach at Job Market Solutions, a boutique agency that specializes in resumes and other career services. She has nearly 40 years of experience in marketing and corporate communications, having worked for public relations agencies, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and professional services firms. Originally from the Northeast (Long Island, NY and Philadelphia), Betsy earned a BA in English with a concentration in journalism from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She lives in and works from Morgantown, WV.
